Winter storage: how to store Geyser, pumps and 21 V batteries

Attrezzi riposti per l'inverno

When the cold weather arrives, sprayers and pumps need to be put away. Leaving them with product inside or in a freezing room is the most common cause of failure when restarting them.

Geyser Sprayers

  1. Empty the tank of any residual product and store it in its original, sealed packaging.
  2. Fill it with clean water and run a full cycle to wash the pump, hoses, and nozzles.
  3. Empty the tank again and, if the fixed system is exposed to frost, drain the water from the hoses.
  4. Check the nozzles: if any are clogged, replace it with the Ultra-fine misting nozzle set and caps - Stocker.

Backpack and pressure pumps

After washing, leave the pump open to dry and release the pressure. If the seals are hardened or the pump leaks, the Mary and Rosy pressure pump seal kit - Di Martino and the Mary pump spare parts - Di Martino will get it working again for just a few euros.

21 V lithium batteries

  • Do not store them completely discharged or leave them on the charger for months: a partial charge is ideal for storage, unless the manual states otherwise.
  • Store them in a dry place, protected from frost and heat (not in a car or unheated garage).
  • During the winter, give them a check-up charge every 2-3 months.

Batteries from the Power 21 V range are interchangeable between compatible Stocker tools: an extra Power 21 V 4 Ah Battery - Stocker allows you to work twice as long without stopping.
