The turf irrigation bar makes it easier to distribute fertilizers and control weeds over large areas. It can be extended from 1.50 to 2.50 metres and, thanks to its fan-shaped nozzles, can spray across a width of up to 3 or 5 metres.
The fiberglass rods are supported by a sturdy metal frame that can be quickly attached to the hose reel on the 40, 60, 80 and 100-litre wheelbarrow pump*.
Up to 4 nozzles can be fitted to the closed 1.50-metre bar, and up to 6 to the open bar. However, depending on their requirements, operators can use practical sealing discs to block any nozzles they do not wish to use. Depending on the nozzles used, the water flow rate ranges from 1.2 to 5.3 litres/min.
For optimal bar performance, the following pressure settings are recommended:
- Max. operating pressure (1–5 nozzles): 6 bar
- Max. operating pressure (6 nozzles): 4 bar
- Min. operating pressure (4 and 6 nozzles): 1 bar
It can be set at 3 different angles, depending on the work to be carried out.
* For the 40 and 60-litre models, Art. 301 and 302, the bar can be purchased separately as an accessory. For the 80 and 100-litre models, Art. 303 and 304, it is included as standard.
